Our Christmas Postage Times / Information |
If you are looking at buying a wormery for a Christmas present for yourself, or as a present for someone else then please take a minute to read the following important information
All our wormeries are in stock and we dispatch daily (Mon - Thurs) all orders will be sent via Parcelforce 24 / 48 service.
Each wormery has a drop-down box that allows you to select
- A Wormery Without Worms (with Voucher)
- A Wormery With Worms
Worms will happily live in their bedding (and they will be sent with extra) for 2 weeks, as long as they are kept cool, and have air. So don't worry - leave them in their packaging in a cool spot and they will be fine. Just don't wrap them and put them under the tree or near a radiator !!
You have the option to take a worm voucher instead of worms, this means that the wormery can be set up at the recipient's leisure.
Our vouchers cost £2 This is to cover the cost of sending the worms via Royal Mail 1st Class Post
These wormeries will be dispatched straight away or in the week specified.
When the recipient is ready to set up their wormery they can then return the voucher to us by post or redeem it online.

If you want the wormery sent with the worms please select the w/c 18th December option from the drop-down box
We are often asked about the packaging that our wormeries are sent in
- Our Wormcity Wormeries are sent in a plain box (approx 18 inches square)
Please be aware that our wormeries will have a label on it with our return address (though written very small)
Your email / Mobile phone number is very important. When we book your delivery with our courier you will receive an Email / SMS containing the tracking number. From this, you can see when your goods are out for delivery.
Parcelforce give a 2-hour time slot.
If you are not in they will NOT leave it. They will try to deliver the next day.

Christmas Day 2023 is on a MONDAY
Our deadline for orders is 12 MIDDAY on THURSDAY 21st December, these orders will be dispatched for delivery via 24-hour courier for delivery on FRIDAY 22nd December.
Wormcity will endeavour to dispatch your wormery in time for Christmas, and we will do our best to ensure that it arrives on time, however, please remember that we are totally reliant on our couriers Parcelforce to deliver in the requested timeframe.

We will be dispatching on 27th / 28th December 2023
Then from the 2nd January 2024
Problems can arise that could delay your parcel, i.e. - human error, heavy traffic, weather, excessive deliveries etc.
Unfortunately, we cannot take any responsibility for late delivery due to circumstances beyond our control
