Delivery was quick and item well packaged. This was bought to replace another wormery we’d bought from another supplier. It had fallen apart so we wanted something better. This one is much sturdier and extremely easy to put together. It has a little tap that allows you to drain water. My partner is very happy with it. We were a little worried we might end up with another one that doesn’t weather too well but this is far better than our old one and I can’t see why it wouldn’t last. It’s quite compact aswell and doesn’t take up a lot of room.

I started my wormery at the end of March when lockdown started. I used some stackable plastic boxes, drilled a load of holes for the worms to migrate up etc etc. Anyway, it worked really well, worms multiplying fast. This system has the perfect combination of depth and surface area. Two bolts with washers and wingnuts are supplied to attach the base. I used cable ties instead.

Great size, colour and functionality.

pretty good product, just lots of trays you stack and collect the left over juices from the sump. rather than have it as a 4 tray setup i used bricks to lift the wormery up off the ground and used that bolted tray to make it a 5 layer wormery. you may get maggots in the sump dead or alive but they pass through the tap or you can filter them out and leave them for the birds

First class service and product. This 4 tier has replaced our non-tiered wormery that has clogged up! Super instructions and advice on maintaining the wormery and information on the worms. Looks great and smaller than I expected (which is good) but plenty of space for compost. I have taped up the lid to prevent first night escapees as I have not got a bin liner large enough! I may also have to tie on the lid as my Springer Spaniel has already discovered how easy it is to remove – he loves the taste of worm pooh!! The lid may turn out to be a weak point as our old wormery and junior wormery both have secure lids. A flatter roof would not be as attractive but would allow for a brick to sit on it.
I am excited at the prospect of harvesting the compost without having to empty a whole smelly wormery.
Wishing you continued success.
PS By placing the unused trays upside down and sitting the assembled wormery on top this sorts out where to store the unused trays until they are needed. In my case this solves the problem of the Springer Spaniel accessing the wormery! I have also made “hinges” for the back part of the lid using ties. I am well chuffed.
